Missoula, MT (Sports Network) - Will Cherry finished with a game-high 28 points as the Montana Grizzlies edged the Weber State Wildcats, 76-74, in a Big Sky Conference clash at Dahlberg Arena.

Weber State shot 44 percent from the field, including 2-of-6 from the field in the first half, as it went into halftime with a slim lead, 36-35. Montana shot 45.8 percent from the field, but missed all but one of its six 3-point tries in the half.

After the break, the Wildcats connected on a red-hot 59.3 percent from the field but had trouble from long range, going just 1-of-8 from beyond the 3- point arc. Though the Grizzlies shot 45.8 percent, including 1-of-2 from 3- point distance, they had an 18-5 scoring advantage from the free-throw line in the second half. The Grizzlies took the lead early in the second half, going up by as many as eight late in the game. The Wildcats attempted a rally, scoring eight of the game's final ten points, but Berry's 3-point attempt at the buzzer was off the mark, allowing the Grizzlies to remain undefeated in league play.
