NCAA Game Summary - Buffalo at Ohio University

Athens, OH (Sports Network) - The Ohio University Bobcats earned another win in their so far perfect season as Ryan Boykin scored two touchdowns leading his team to a 38-31 Mid-American Conference victory over the Buffalo Bulls at Peden Stadium.
Boykin ran for 64 yards with his two scores on just six attempts while Beau Blankenship added 86 yards and a touchdown on his 25 attempts in the Bobcat (6-0, 2-0 MAC) win.
Tyler Tettleton was 14-of-26 for 183 yards, a touchdown, and an interception with his single touchdown pass going to Tyler Futrell. Ohio is now the first team to earn bowl eligibility with its six wins.
Devin Campbell rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown on 30 attempts while Alex Zordich added 110 yards on 19 carries. Alex Dennison also rushed for a touchdown as the Bulls (1-4, 0-2) were defeated.
Passing for Buffalo, Zordich was 13-of-25 for 97 yards and touchdown and Dennison added a passing touchdown.
Alex Neutz finished the game with 77 receiving yards and touchdown on four catches and Devon Hughes added a touchdown reception.
Buffalo got going early with a three-yard touchdown run by Campbell and a ten-yard touchdown pass from Zordich to Hughes, putting the Bulls on top 14-0in the first quarter.
With the Bobcat offense struggling to start the game, Daz'mond Patterson put his team on the board when he found a gap and returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown.
Ohio then scored on two, one-play drives resulting from Buffalo turnovers that gave the Bobcats the ball inside the red zone. After a Neutz fumble, Blankenship ran in for a 14-yard touchdown and after a fumble on a punt return, Tettleton hit Futrell for a 15-yard touchdown. The Bobcats led 21-14 after three unanswered touchdowns.
Matt Weller hit a 45-yard field goal to extend Ohio's lead, but then Buffalo answered when Dennison found Neutz on a halfback pass for a 55-yard touchdown catch after which the Bulls deficit was cut to a field goal.
Patrick Clarke hit a 30-yard field goal late in the third quarter to tie the ball game at 24-24.
The Bobcats took the lead right back at the start of the fourth quarter after Boykin ran in a one-yard touchdown to complete an 11-play, 65-yard drive.
Boykin then broke free for a 51-yard touchdown that extended the Ohio lead to 38-24.
The Bulls drove 77 yards down the field on eight plays and Dennison ran in a one-yard touchdown to make the score 38-31 with just eight seconds remaining. The ensuing onside kick was recovered by Ohio, which was then able to run out the clock.
The Bobcats came into this game fifth in the nation with a +2.2 turnover margin and continued that excellence forcing three turnovers and only giving up one.
