NCAA Game Summary - Utah State at Denver (Saturday, January 19) Final Score: Denver 68, Utah State 57 Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Brett Olson paced four teammates in double figures with 18 points as the Denver Pioneers outlasted the Utah State Aggies, 68-57, in Western Athletic Conference action at Magness Arena. Olson shot 7-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range as Denver (11-7, 7-1 WAC) extended its winning streak to seven games. Chase Hallam scored 14 points, Chris Udofia added 13 points, and Jalen Love chipped in 10 points for the home team. For Utah State (14-3, 5-2), Marvin Jean netted 14 points, while Jarred Shaw tallied 10 points and nine rebounds. The Aggies' have now lost back-to-back games following a 13-game win streak. Denver shot 58.3 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes and drained seven 3-pointers as it opened up a 36-25 lead at halftime. Utah State improved from 43.8 percent field goal shooting in the first half to 50 percent in the second, but the Pioneers remained hot from the field (.545) as they held on for the win.
