NCAA Game Summary - Alabama at Auburn (Wednesday, February 6) Final Score: Auburn 49, Alabama 37 Auburn, AL (Sports Network) - Allen Payne and Josh Wallace scored 11 points apiece as the Auburn Tigers used a big second half surge to defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide, 49-37, in a Southeastern Conference bout at Auburn Arena. Rob Chubb grabbed seven rebounds for Auburn (9-13, 3-6 SEC) as it overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to snap its six-game losing streak. The Tigers managed to win despite a 1-of-13 showing from the floor by leading scorer Frankie Sullivan. Trevor Releford and Rodney Cooper tallied scored 11 points each for Alabama (14-8, 6-3), which had won its previous two games. Alabama shot just 33.3 percent from the field in the opening half, but it still managed to take a 23-13 lead into the intermission after the Tigers went 3-of-23 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes. The Tigers heated up to sink 57.1 percent of their field goal attempts and added 11-of-15 at the charity stripe in the second half. Alabama watched its lead evaporate as it went 6-of-25 from the field including 1-of-12 from beyond the arc after the break.
