(Wednesday, November 21st) Final Score: North Dakota State 66, James Madison 44 Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Taylor Braun compiled 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists as North Dakota State closed out its Progressive Legends Classic schedule with a 66-44 rout of James Madison at the A.J. Palumbo Center. TrayVonn Wright contributed 12 points to help the Bison (5-1) post their fourth straight win and third in the Pittsburgh Subregional in as many days. North Dakota State shot 53.3 percent from the field and put together a 14-4 run over the final seven minutes to put the game out of reach. The Bison trailed 20-19 with under 6 1/2 minutes in the first half, but outscored the Dukes 15-4 over the remainder of the period to build a 34-24 halftime lead. Braun recorded the final five points of the spurt, including a pair of free throws with four seconds left that accounted for the 10-point spread. JMU made a bid early in the second half, using an 8-1 flurry capped by Taylor Bessick's tip-in to pull within 37-32 with 13:39 left. Braun knocked down a triple on the other end, however, jump-starting a sequence of seven straight points that extended North Dakota State's advantage to 12. The Dukes never got closer than nine points the rest of the way.
