NCAA Game Summary - Georgia State at James Madison

Final Score: Georgia State 66, James Madison 62

Harrisonburg, VA (Sports Network) - For the final away competition for Georgia State in the Colonial Athletic Association, James Vincent scored 16 points to guide the Panthers over the James Madison Dukes, 66-62, at the Convocation Center.

Vincent was 6-of-10 from the field with seven rebounds and three blocks for the Panthers (15-15, 10-7 CAA), who have won three of their last four bouts. Devonta White added 15 points and five assists while R.J. Hunter and Rashaad Richardson managed 11 points each.

JMU (16-14, 10-7) was paced by a double-double performance from A.J. Davis who had 22 points with 10 rebounds. Devon Moore was the only other Duke to score in double-figures with 14 points and five assists as JMU lost its second consecutive game.

The Panthers held the Dukes to 35.7 percent shooting from the field and 2- of-11 shooting from 3-point range in the first half as they carried a 27-24 lead into the break.

In the second half, Georgia State was outstanding from the free-throw line and went a perfect 17-of-17 from the stripe while outscoring JMU 39-38. The Panthers led the entire second half and despite late attempts from the Dukes they were able to hold on for the win.

Georgia State's execution at the charity stripe was crucial as the Panthers were 17-of-18 from the line while JMU was 8-of-14.
