(Wednesday, November 28) Final Score: South Dakota State 71, North Dakota 70 Brookings, SD (Sports Network) - A three-pointer by Chad White with two seconds remaining in regulation was just what South Dakota State needed as the Jackrabbits captured a thrilling 71-70 win over North Dakota in non-conference action at Frost Arena. White, who made 3-of-7 shots on the perimeter, finished with nine points for the Jackrabbits (5-2) as they won their fourth straight outing. Jordan Dykstra and Nate Wolters both tallied 21 points, the former pulling down a team-best eight rebounds and the latter accounting for six assists, five boards and five steals. Tony Fiegen tacked on 14 points as well. North Dakota (1-4) was paced by Josh Schuler with 13 points, followed by reserve Doug Archer with 12 and starters Mitch Wilmer and Jamal Webb with 11 points apiece. UND erupted for 56.0 percent accuracy from the floor in the first half, including 5-of-9 behind the three-point line, yet the visitors led by just six points at the break, 38-32. In the second half the momentum swung in favor of the 'Jacks as they converted 6-of-11 beyond the arc but still had to wait on White to save the day in the final moments.
