(Friday, November 9) Final Score: Bradley 76, Eastern Illinois 53 Peoria, IL (Sports Network) - Tyshon Pickett poured in 23 points and ripped down 8 rebounds to lead the Bradley Braves to a 76-53 win over the Eastern Illinois Panthers in the season opener at Carver Arena. Will Egolf and Dyricus Simms-Edwards each added 11 points for Bradley (1-0) while Jake Eastman handed out seven assists. All 14 of Morris Woods' points came off the bench for Eastern Illinois (0-1) while Alex Austin was the lone starter in double figures with 13 points. Bradley cruised to a 38-22 halftime lead by shooting 57.7 percent from the floor while Eastern Illinois fell behind at 36.8 percent. In the second half the Braves shot an identical 57.7 percent from the floor and the Panthers dipped to 33.3 percent shooting.
