The Irish benefited from 22 points in the paint compared to just 10 for George Washington. Notre Dame's lead was cut to nine at the 13:05 mark on a jumper by Lasan Kromah, but Pat Connaughton responded with a triple to give Notre Dame some breathing room. They led by at least 10 for the rest of the game. The Irish had an 18-2 edge in points off turnovers but was on the short end of a 41-38 differential in rebounds. 11/21 21:42:24 ET Powered by The Sports Network. |
