(Wednesday, February 6) Final Score: George Washington 79, Duquesne 57 Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Isaiah Armwood hung up a double-double and Lasan Kromah scored a game-high 19 points off the bench as the George Washington Colonials downed the Duquesne Dukes, 79-57, in an Atlantic 10 Conference bout at the Palumbo Center. Armwood had 14 points and 13 rebounds, Joe McDonald added 11 points and Kevin Larsen finished with 10 points for George Washington (11-10, 5-3 A-10) which has won four of its last five games. Derrick Colter scored 18 points and handed out six assists and Jeremiah Jones added 14 points for Duquesne (7-15, 0-8) which has lost 10 straight. In the first half George Washington hit 54.3 percent of its shots from the floor, including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc to take a 45-35 lead into the break. Duquesne lagged behind shooting 40 percent, though the Dukes did hit 7- of-15 shots from 3-point range. After halftime the Colonials shot at a 46.4 percent clip and held the Dukes to just eight field goals on 29.6 percent shooting to collect the win.
