NCAA Game Summary - Louisiana at ULM (Saturday, March 2) Final Score: Louisiana 71, ULM 63 Monroe, LA (Sports Network) - Shawn Long recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns defeated the ULM Warhawks, 71-63, in Sun Belt Conference action at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. Bryant Mbamalu and Alan-Michael Thompson contributed 13 points apiece for the Ragin' Cajuns (12-19, 8-12 SBC) as they snapped a two-game losing streak. For the Warhawks (4-22, 3-17), Amos Olatayo accounted for a game-high 21 points and eight rebounds. Jayon James was one rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and Trent Mackey also scored 12 points as ULM lost for the fifth time in as many games to close out the regular season. In the first half ULM was held to 9-of-23 shooting from the field, including a mere 2-of-9 from long range. Louisiana made 13-of-29 from the floor, including 5-of-10 beyond the arc, en route to a 34-26 advantage at the break. In the second half both teams scored 37 points, made three 3-pointers, and shot 40 percent from the floor.
