NCAA Game Summary - Middle Tennessee at Florida Atlantic (Saturday, February 2) Final Score: Middle Tennessee 73, Florida Atlantic 56 Boca Raton, FL (Sports Network) - Raymond Cintron scored 16 points to lead four players in double figures for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders who took down the Florida Atlantic Owls, 73-56, in Sun Belt Conference action at FAU Arena. Marcos Knight had 13 points and J.T. Sulton and Kerry Hammonds each added 12 for Middle Tennessee (20-4, 12-1 Sun Belt) which has won nine straight. For FAU (11-13, 6-7) Stefan Mooday had a game-high 17 points and Greg Gantt chipped in 13. The Owls have lost four of their last five. At the break the Blue Raiders led 31-25 by shooting 52 percent from the field while holding the Owls to 42.9 percent shooting. In the second frame Middle Tennessee connected on 59.1 percent of its shots from the floor while FAU cooled to 39.3 percent. The Blue Raiders also had a 12-6 edge from the free-throw line in the period to close out the win.
