Valparaiso, IN (Sports Network) - Howard Little tallied 17 points as the Valparaiso Crusaders captured the 58-56 win over the Wright State Raiders in Horizon League action at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

Valpo (19-7, 11-3 HL) also got 10 points apiece from Cory Johnson and Brandon Wood as the team won its third in a row and the fourth in the last five outings.

The Raiders (17-11, 10-6) were paced by Vaughn Duggins who tallied a game-high 21 points, followed by N'Gai Evans and Cole Darling with 14 and 10 points, respectively, in the team's second straight loss.

Wright State managed to convert a total of just nine field goals in the first half, allowing the hosts to move out to a 30-24 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Raiders stormed back with a staggering 66.7 percent accuracy from the floor, but it just wasn't enough as Valpo pulled off the two-point win.

The Crusaders finished the night shooting 52.6 percent from the floor in order to offset 18 turnovers.
