Description: With Mike Goodson's future up in the air, Chris Ivory doesn't have much competition to be the Jets' feature back, according to the New York Post.
Insight: Goodson was arrested last week on drugs and weapons charges, leaving just Ivory, Bilal Powell and Joe McKnight in the backfield, and new GM John Idzik has been trying to dump McKnight. Ivory showed flashes in limited playing time with New Orleans, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and scoring eight touchdowns on 256 carries in 24 career games.

Insight: The 25-year-old is New York's running back of the future. The Jets may have also found their quarterback of the future after taking Geno Smith with the 39th pick at Friday night's NFL Draft.

Insight: We heard rumblings about an Ivory trade earlier in the week and now it looks like the deal has finally come to fruition. Ivory was never a fantasy-worthy back in New Orleans but we're expecting that to change now that he's part of a more run-oriented offense in New York.

Insight: The Jets would be willing to part with a fifth-round pick in next week's draft to complete the trade. After backing up Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram last season, Ivory would have a chance to be a starter in New York.

Description: Saints running back Chris Ivory (hamstring) will miss Week 15 against Tampa Bay.
Insight: Ivory was a hot waiver wire property after a couple of big weeks against Philadelphia and Atlanta, but hasn't cracked the 40-yard mark or the goal line in the last three weeks.

Description: Saints running back Chris Ivory (hamstring) is inactive Sunday against the Giants.
Insight: Ivory's production has waned once again after turning in top-notch production for two weeks. He only had three carries last week so it's not like we can expect Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram to inherit a larger workload. Darren Sproles remains the best bet out of this backfield to produce fantasy-worthy numbers.

Description: Saints running back Chris Ivory found the end zone for the second straight week Sunday against the Falcons.
Insight: Ivory finished with 72 yards on just seven carries Sunday while Mark Ingram carried 16 times for 67 yards. Curiously, Pierre Thomas received just five carries and one reception. It's going to be difficult to figure out which New Orleans rusher to start in fantasy while Darren Sproles is out but Ivory and Ingram have both made stronger cases than Thomas the last two weeks.

Description: Chris Ivory was active Monday for the first time this season and actually led New Orleans in touches out of the back field with 10 carries and a reception.
Insight: Ivory, Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas each looked explosive in combining for 136 rushing yards on 23 carries, with Ivory picking up a score. Darren Sproles (hand) could return from his injury as soon as this week, however, so none of the three backs are likely to offer much fantasy value.
