Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert blew up for 28 points and 13 rebounds Wednesday in a win against Houston.
Insight: Wednesday was Hibbert's third 20-point game of the month. Before March, Hibbert had recorded just two 20-point games all season.

Hot3/17/2013 10:07:00 AM
Description: Pacers big man Roy Hibbert went off for 25 points and 10 rebounds Saturday in a loss at Philadelphia.
Insight: Indiana has lost three out of its last four games but don't blame Hibbert. Over that stretch, Hibbert has averaged 18.8 ppg and 9.0 rpg. Both of those are well above Hibbert's season averages of 10.8 ppg and 8.1 boards per contest.

Hot3/15/2013 9:55:00 PM
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert's encore for a season-high 27 points on Wednesday: seven points on 3-of-12 shooting Friday against the Lakers.
Insight: Hibbert was averaging 16.8 ppg and 3.3 bpg in March prior to Friday but he failed to block against the Lakers.

Hot3/13/2013 9:51:00 PM
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert led all scorers with 27 points Wednesday in a win over Minnesota.
Insight: That's a new season-high for the Georgetown product and recurring Parks and Recreation cast member. Not only is Hibbert scoring again (16.8 ppg in his last six games) but he's also swatting away shots like a shot-blocking fiend. He's averaging nearly four blocks per game in his last five contests. Ironically, Hibbert's hot streak started right after he got suspended for fighting Warriors forward David Lee.

3/1/2013 2:08:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert has served his one-game suspension and should be back in the starting lineup Friday against Toronto.
Insight: Hibbert is only averaging 10.0 ppg and 8.1 rpg, down from 12.8 ppg and 8.8 rpg from last season.

Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert has been suspended one game for Tuesday's altercation with David Lee and Stephen Curry of the Warriors. SOURCE: Sam Amick, USA Today
Insight: Hibbert and Lee got into a shoving match under the basket and Curry ran over and tried to restrain Hibbert. However, the 7-foot-2, 280-pound center easily overpowered Curry and shoved him to the ground, escalating things and leading to an ejection for Hibbert. Hibbert will miss Friday's game against the Clippers.

2/26/2013 9:35:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert made 4-of-8 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line for 13 points with nine boards, one steal and five blocks Tuesday versus Golden State. However, he was ejected for two technical fouls and could be suspended after getting into a scrap with David Lee and throwing Stephen Curry to the ground.
Insight: Hibbert has shot 50 percent or better in five straight games but only attempted an average of 7.2 field goals per game in that stretch. With 13 points Tuesday, Hibbert upped his average to 10 ppg for the season. Hibbert said after the game that the altercation was an issue between Lee and himself and that he expects to be banned for one game, according to Pacers.com.

2/6/2013 9:47:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert scored a team-high 18 points Wednesday against Philadelphia but it took 20 shots (8-20 FG, 2-3 FT). Hibbert also grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked five shots.
Insight: Basically, this is what Hibbert has been doing all season -- shooting poorly while rebounding and blocking shots well. He just happened to take a season-high 20 attempts from the field Wednesday, which explains his high scoring output.

1/30/2013 9:25:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert had a team-high 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting with 11 rebounds with two assists, one steal and one block Wednesday against Detroit.
Insight: Hibbert is having his best month of the season offensively with 11 ppg on 46 percent shooting. Despite his offensive woes this season, his shot-blocking (2.6 per game) makes him a must-own.

1/15/2013 10:03:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert had a team-high 18 points on 5-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist and four blocks Tuesday against the Bobcats.
Insight: Hibbert had only averaged 8.0 points on 39.8 percent shooting in his previous 11 games. If you own the Pacers center, it is strictly for his blocks and rebounds. It doesn't appear like there will be any offensive turnaround this season for him, Tuesday's game aside.

Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert (back) will play Saturday against Charlotte. SOURCE: Mark Montieth, Pacers.com
Insight: Hibbert left Thursday's game versus New York twice with back spasms but he's feeling better. We're guessing Indiana wouldn't play him Saturday if there was a serious chance of aggravating the injury.

1/10/2013 10:17:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert left Thursday's game in the first half due to back spasms and while he later returned in the third quarter he appeared to aggravate the injury in the fourth.
Insight: Hibbert blocked Knicks center Tyson Chandler at the rim but went down and immediately began favoring his back.

Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert left Thursday's game in the first half due to back spasms but later returned in the third quarter. SOURCE: Mike Wells, Indianapolis Star
Insight: Hibbert's scoring is down 3.1 ppg due to a decline in shooting percentage from .497 last season to .401. Hibbert is also shooting worse from the free-throw line and taking 1.5 fewer foul shots per game. The center is still worth owning because he is third in the NBA with 2.7 blocks and 22nd with 8.4 rebounds per game but there's no denying he's been a disappointment.

1/8/2013 9:48:00 PM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert was unable to build off Saturday's 20-point, 15-rebound, 5-block effort in Tuesday's game against the Heat. He shot 3-of-12 from the field for six points and failed to block a shot but did have 14 rebounds.
Insight: Hibbert has struggled with his shooting all season but made 50 percent or better in his first three games of January. Since Hibbert is providing 2.7 blocks and 8.4 rebounds per game, fantasy owners can afford to hold onto him and hope he reverts to 2011-12 form (.497 FG%).

12/20/2012 10:47:00 AM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert's shooting has improved recently, but not by much. The 7-foot-2 center is hitting on 41.2 percent of his shots for 9.8 ppg over his last 12 after making just 37.9 percent for 9.6 ppg his first 14.
Insight: Hibbert made 49.7 percent last season so there's really no explanation for his major dropoff. Fortunately he has blocked 2.8 shots per game, third best in the NBA.

12/18/2012 11:15:00 AM
Description: Pacers center Roy Hibbert is probable for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee. Hibbert injured his thigh Saturday in a game against the Pistons.
Insight: Hibbert's field goal percentage is way down, to 38.9 percent, and he has not been producing up to expectations across the board this season (9.7 ppg vs. 12.8 last season, 8.4 rpg vs. 8.8), but the center position isn't deep and fantasy owners will need to hope he turns it around soon.

12/16/2012 1:35:00 PM
Description: Pacers coach Frank Vogel is hoping Roy Hibbert will be able to play Tuesday against Milwaukee. Hibbert injured his thigh Saturday in a game against the Pistons.
Insight: Hibbert has been a bust this season (9.7 ppg compared to 12.8 last season) but the talent pool at center isn't especially deep so he's still worth keeping an eye on.
