Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey started at point guard in place of the injured Jose Calderon and had 22 points, four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes Wednesday against the Celtics.
Insight: Stuckey had success when Brandon Knight was out of the lineup in mid-March. However, if both players are healthy he doesn't offer any consistency.

3/31/2013 10:33:00 PM
Description: Detroit backup shooting guard Rodney Stuckey had 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting with two threes, two rebounds and two assists Sunday against the Bulls.
Insight: He had zero points on 0-of-3 shooting Friday night; that's owning Stuckey in a nutshell. He'll only have consistent fantasy value if Brandon Knight goes down again. Knight has sprained his ankle twice in March in addition to breaking his nose, so there's sure to be some owners hanging onto Stuckey, but Knight played 36:31 Sunday night.

3/26/2013 10:29:00 PM
Description: Detroit backup shooting guard Rodney Stuckey played just 21 minutes and scored seven points Tuesday against the Timberwolves.
Insight: Now that Brandon Knight has returned to the starting lineup, Stuckey's minutes once again will be inconsistent. He can be dropped in most leagues despite averaging 18.8 ppg while Knight was on the sidelines for four games.

3/22/2013 10:25:00 AM
Description: Detroit backup shooting guard Rodney Stuckey is averaging 21.3 ppg in a starting role while Brandon Knight has been sidelined due to injury.
Insight: Stuckey should get in one more game as a starter before Knight returns to the lineup, so fantasy owners have the option of using him for another game, though it will be against the tough Miami Heat.

Hot3/17/2013 9:17:00 AM
Description: Detroit guard Rodney Stuckey put together another strong game Saturday in a loss to Portland (32 points on 12-of-23 shooting).
Insight: That comes on the heels of an equally impressive outing Wednesday at Golden State (22 points in 38 minutes). The road trip got off to an inauspicious start for Stuckey (seven points against the Clippers and 15 at Utah) but he finished it off in style. The Nets are next up on the docket for Stuckey and the 23-45 Pistons.

3/14/2013 9:37:00 AM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey scored 22 points with five assists and three rebounds in 38 minutes Wednesday against the Warriors. He started at shooting guard in place of the injured Brandon Knight.
Insight: Knight is out for an indefinite period of time due to an ankle sprain so Stuckey could make for a decent pickup as he'll be locked into 30-plus minutes a game while Knight is out of action.

2/27/2013 11:37:00 AM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey scored 22 points on 10-for-17 shooting Monday night with Will Bynum out of the lineup, but should return to his normal production level for Wednesday against Washington.
Insight: Stuckey is averaging 11.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.4 apg coming off the bench.

2/22/2013 4:12:00 PM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey should get the start on Friday night with Brandon Knight out with a hyperextended right knee.
Insight: Stuckey is averaging 11.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.5 apg coming off the bench, but should see close to 35 minutes tonight and be a solid fantasy option.

1/30/2013 7:06:00 PM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey is in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Pacers.
Insight: Stuckey will replace Tayshaun Prince, who is involved in a potential three-team trade that would land Rudy Gay in Toronto, Prince and Ed Davis in Memphis and Jose Calderon in Detroit. It's unclear what coach Lawrence Frank will do with the Pistons starting lineup if the trade goes through, but one of the team's three guards -- Calderon, Brandon Knight, Stuckey -- will have to sit with Kyle Singler moving to small forward.

1/29/2013 4:04:00 PM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey will be active and back to his normal usage on Tuesday. "We're moving on," Pistons coach Lawrence Frank said.
Insight: Stuckey was inactive Sunday against the Magic for an undisclosed reason. He's only averaging 7.7 points on 34.5 percent shooting in 23 minutes over his last seven games.

1/23/2013 11:23:00 AM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey is questionable for Wednesday's game against Chicago with a sprained ankle. He injured the ankle against the Magic on Tuesday and did not return to the game.
Insight: Stuckey is averaging 11.6 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 4.1 apg, primarily off the bench this season.

1/15/2013 5:45:00 PM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey told Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press that he should be "good to go" Thursday against the Knicks in London. Stuckey had dental work done Monday on a tooth that was damaged back in December.
Insight: Stuckey is averaging 14.9 points, 5.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 threes in his last 15 games but he has also missed three games recently due to a sprained ankle. Will Bynum has been the one to step up in Stuckey's absence but he won't be needed much on Thursday.

Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey is expected to return to the lineup Friday against the Hawks. Stuckey has missed Detroit's last three games with a sprained left ankle.
Insight: He practiced Thursday and didn't encounter any setbacks. Stuckey scored 16 against Atlanta when he faced them a week ago.

1/2/2013 11:42:00 AM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey is questionable for Friday's game against Atlanta with a sprained left ankle.
Insight: Stuckey has missed three straight games, giving Will Bynum an extended opportunity in a shooting role. Bynum has scored well, averaging almost 20 ppg over the last four contests.

Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey (ankle) will miss Tuesday's game against the Kings. SOURCE: Keith Langlois, Pistons.com
Insight: Stuckey has missed three straight games, giving Will Bynum an extended opportunity as the sixth man. Bynum scored 56 points in his first two games with Stuckey out but just eight on Sunday.

12/31/2012 5:20:00 PM
Description: Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey will probably be a game-time decision Tuesday against Sacramento. Stuckey has missed two games in a row with a sprained ankle.
Insight: Stuckey was a limited participant in Monday's practice. If he misses Detroit's game on New Years Day, Stuckey's next chance to play will be Friday against the Hawks.

12/30/2012 6:30:00 PM
Description: Detroit guard Rodney Stuckey is out for Sunday's game against Milwaukee. He's still recovering from a sprained ankle.
Insight: Stuckey hasn't been in the lineup since Wednesday. He usually splits time at point guard with Brandon Knight so Knight should see an uptick in minutes while Stuckey is out.

12/30/2012 10:32:00 AM
Description: Rodney Stuckey's availability for Sunday's game against the Bucks is still up in the air. The Pistons point guard missed Friday's game versus the Heat because of a sprained ankle.
Insight: Stuckey has had a very poor season offensively, contributing just 12.1 ppg (his lowest average since his rookie season in 2007-08) on 38.2 percent shooting (career-low). He's a borderline fantasy player at best.
