Became first ever player to be named a finalist for the Butkus (nation's top linebacker) and Hendricks Awards (nation's top defensive end) as a senior in 2009 when he was tabbed Third-Team All-American as a linebacker...First-Team All-Big 12 by the league's coaches in 2008 when he generated 10 sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 15 quarterback pressures for the Longhorns while playing at both linebacker and end...Kindle logged 2.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss in the National Championship Game against Alabama...Was a critical piece to a defense that ranked among the best in the nation the last two years, doing the job at two different positions...Kindle's size dictates that he play in the middle of the field and not along the defensive line at the professional level.
