Named to the All-Mountain West Conference First Team three straight years, making him one of only six players in league history to achieve that feat...Jorgensen finished his career with 28.5 sacks, tying him for the all-time lead in the MWC...With 44 tackles for loss, Jorgensen also holds the all-time league mark in that department as well...Had his best season in 2007 as a sophomore when he ranked among the nation's best with 20 TFLs and 14 sacks, numbers that carried over to 2008 when he was placed on the watch lists for both the Rotary Lombardi Award and Ted Hendricks Award...Named to the Freshman All-America Third Team in 2006 when he started all 13 games for BYU...Coached by his father in high school, Jorgensen not only played quarterback he also won a state wrestling title in his first year of competitive wrestling in Utah...Spent two years on a church mission after high school and was redshirted in 2005 so he is considerably older than most prospects.
