|National Football League Draft Profile - Bruce Campbell |
|Selection||8 (106 overall)|
|High School||Hyde Leadership School (Hamden, Connecticut)|
|Made himself eligible for this draft after only three seasons at Maryland...Had a rather mediocre college career, and his final season (2009) was hampered by nagging injuries...Started 17 games...Considered by many to be the best athlete at the OT position in this draft, Campbell was the star of the 2010 Scouting Combine in Indianapolis because of his ability to run like a tight end...Bench pressed 490 pounds at Maryland, proof of his extraordinary strength...At 6-7 and 310 pounds, Campbell is chiseled...Much more accomplished as a pass blocker than a run blocker at this point, but certainly has the ability to be tremendous in both aspects...Able to pull/trap because of athleticism...Needs to prove that he is willing to work as hard as necessary to become great.|
