Sacramento Kings 2010 Draft Preview
By John McMullen, NBA Editor

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Last year Sacramento fell from No. 1 to four in the NBA Draft Lottery and lucked out by snaring Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans, a player that figures to be the cornerstone of the franchise.

This season the Kings fell from No. 3 to five and hope to have some of the same luck.

Sacramento reportedly asked Evans his opinion on who the pick should be this year and Tyreke wasn't shy about professing his desire to play with Kentucky center DeMarcus Cousins. Meanwhile, the Kings' brass reportedly thinks Georgetown big man Greg Monroe is a safer pick.

In the end, I think Cousins' upside is the difference.
