NOTES:
The Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the 30th race on the 2013 Nationwide Series schedule.

There have been 63 Nationwide races at Charlotte. The series has competed at this track twice each year since 1982.

Harry Gant won the inaugural Nationwide race at Charlotte, the Mello Yello 300, on May 29, 1982.

Earlier this year, Kyle Busch won a Nationwide event at Charlotte for a record seventh time. Busch had been in a tie with Mark Martin for most victories at this track with six.

Roush Fenway Racing has the most car owner wins in Nationwide races at Charlotte with 12, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing with six.

The Nationwide race winner at Charlotte has started from the pole eight times, but that feat has not been accomplished since Matt Kenseth did it in October 2000.

Since NASCAR began using electronic timing and scoring in 1993, the closest margin of victory in a Nationwide race at Charlotte occurred on May 26, 2001 when Jeff Green beat Kenseth to the finish line by just 0.055 seconds.

Mike Bliss is the only driver on the entry list for this weekend's race that scored his first career Nationwide victory at Charlotte. Bliss won the 2004 fall race there when he drove Joe Gibbs Racing. He is now with TriStar Motorsports.

Three drivers entered in this race made their Nationwide debuts at Charlotte: Kenseth (May 1996), Busch (May 2003) and Justin Allgaier (May 2008).

The next race is the Nov. 2 O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. Kevin Harvick won last year's race there.
