NOTES:
The Italian Grand Prix at Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Monza, Italy is the 12th round on the 2013 Formula One calendar.

The Italian GP has been included on the F1 schedule each year since the racing circuit's inception in 1950. The race has been held at Monza each year with the exception of 1980 when it was run at Imola. Monza was being refurbished that year.

Michael Schumacher holds the record for most victories in the Italian GP with five. All of Schumacher's wins in this event came with Ferrari (1996, '98, 2000, '03 and '06).

Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton are those active drivers who have won the Italian GP in the past. Alonso and Vettel have two victories each. Hamilton's first win in this race came last year.

Ferrari leads all constructors with 18 victories in the Italian GP. McLaren is next in line with 10 wins.

Vettel's first F1 grand prix win and pole victory came in the 2008 Italian GP. He drove for Toro Rosso at the time. At age 21, Vettel became the youngest race and pole winner in F1. He moved over to Red Bull the following year.

In 16 Italian GP starts since its F1 debut in 2005, Red Bull has recorded only one podium finish - Vettel's 2011 win.

Ten of the previous 13 Italian GPs have been won from the pole position, including the last three. Schumacher won from second in 2006, while Rubens Barrichello took the checkered flag after starting fourth in 2002 and fifth in 2009.

Round 13 in this year's F1 world championship is the Sept. 22 Singapore Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel won last year's race there.
