NCAA Game Summary - Kentucky at Tennessee

Knoxville, TN (Sports Network) - Tyler Bray threw for 354 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the Tennessee Volunteers to a 24-14 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats in an SEC bout at Neyland Stadium.

Bray completed 20-of-38 passes under center for Tennessee (6-6, 3-5 SEC) in the win, with his favorite target being Denarius Moore, who caught seven passes for 205 yards and a touchdown. Gerald Jones caught six passes for 77 yards and a score as well for the Volunteers, while Tauren Poole led the ground attack with 59 yards and a touchdown.

Signal-caller Mike Hartline completed 31-of-44 passes for 272 yards with a touchdown and an interception to lead Kentucky (6-6, 2-6) in the loss, while Derrick Locke ran for 97 yards and a score on 24 carries. Randall Cobb caught 13 balls for 116 yards for the Wildcats, while Chris Matthews grabbed six passes for 85 yards.

The Wildcats jumped out to an early 7-0 lead following a 17-yard Locke scamper.

The Volunteers tied the contest early in the second quarter following an 11- yard toss from Bray to Jones, and took a 14-7 lead just minutes later on a 12- yard strike from Bray to Moore.

In the third quarter, the Wildcats knotted things up at 14-14 with a two-yard completion from Hartline to Tyler Robinson.

But the Volunteers reclaimed the lead late in the frame with a two-yard Poole run.

The Volunteers added a 36-yard Daniel Lincoln field goal early in the final period of play for the contest's final score.
