Paradise Island, Bahamas (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarnell Stokes hung up a double-double as the Tennessee Volunteers finished off their stay at the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament with an 82-63 trouncing of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Stokes finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds for Tennessee (5-2), which came in fifth place in the event. Darius Thompson added 16 points off the bench and Jordan McRae turned in 10 points.
Codi Miller-McIntyre led Wake Forest (6-2) with 17 points. Travis McKie tacked on 15 points and Coron Williams chimed in with 10.
Tennessee led, 43-32, at halftime. The Volunteers connected on 53.8 percent of their shots from the floor and limited the Demon Deacons to a 38.5 percent shooting effort.
After the break the Volunteers continued to shoot well, netting 52.4 percent of their attempts from the field to close out the victory.
Tennessee outscored Wake Forest 40-26 in the paint and 14-3 on second chance points.
