NCAA Game Summary - Milwaukee at Northern Illinois

DeKalb, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Panthers had five players in double figures in a convincing defeat of the Northern Illinois Huskies, 82-69, at the Convocation Center.
Malcolm Moore had a team-high 15 points and made all four attempts from the field and all four at the free-throw line for the Panthers (4-1). Steve McWhorter (14 points), Jordan Aaron (13), Austin Arians (13) and Kyle Kelm (12) also provided significant scoring.
Darrell Bowie scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Huskies (1-3), shooting 6-of-9 from the field. He was the team's lone player in double figures, although Aaron Armstead and Jordan Threloff contributed nine and eight points, respectively.
The teams remained close at the end of the first half, with Milwaukee moving out to a narrow 35-32 lead. The Huskies shot slightly better from the field in the opening half, but the Panthers relied on the perimeter shot, with six shots falling from distance to the Huskies' one.
Northern Illinois shot somewhat worse from the field in the second half, and the visitors took advantage of 12-of-15 opportunities at the charity stripe.
In the end the Huskies' 17 turnovers proved to be too much to overcome, as well as just 17-of-28 shooting at the free-throw line.
