NCAA Game Summary - Weber State at Sacramento State

Sacramento, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Dylan Garrity launched a 75-foot 3- pointer at the buzzer that fell through and gave the Sacramento State Hornets an incredible 78-75 overtime victory over the Weber State Wildcats in a Big Sky Conference tilt at The Nest.
Mikh McKinney scored 30 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out six assists for Sacramento State (8-11, 4-6 Big Sky). Eric Stuteville netted 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds, while Garrity chipped in 13 points and Nick Hornsby added 11 in the win. The Hornets have now won two games in a row.
Davion Berry paced Weber State (11-7, 8-2) with 29 points, adding five rebounding to his stat line. Kyle Tresnak scored 20 points, Jeremy Senglin chipped in 16 and Joel Bolomboy grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds. The loss ends a six-game Wildcats winning streak.
Sacramento State hit 42.3 percent of its shots in the first half, and took a 32-29 lead into the intermission. Weber State connected on an even 40 percent of its field goal tries in the frame.
Both teams struggled to a 33.3 percent shooting mark in the second half, while the Hornets connected on just one of their four 3-point attempts. The last basket was scored by Tresnak with 2:53 left to play in the game that knotted the score at 60 apiece. No points were scored until the overtime period.
The teams traded baskets in the extra time, and Berry hit a 3-pointer to tie the score at 75-75 with one second left to play in OT. Garrity got the ball on the ensuing inbounds play from deep in his own territory and launched up a 3- point attempt that swished right through the basket.
Sacramento State had the edge in second chance points, 23-12, and in bench points, 25-4. Weber State held the advantage in points off turnovers, 11-9, and in points in the paint, 24-22.
