NCAA Game Summary - Chattanooga at UAB

Birmingham, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Paced by Jordan Swing's 17 points, the UAB Blazers downed the Chattanooga Mocs, 67-52, in a non-conference clash at Bartow Arena.
Chad Frazier netted 15 points for UAB (9-2), which has won five in a row. Rod Rucker scored 14 points, while Robert Williams and Fahro Alihodzic were both impressive on the glass with 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively.
For Chattanooga (4-8), Martynas Bareika and Eric Robertson mirrored each other with 11 points and six rebounds apiece, although Bareika struggled mightily from the field (3-of-14).
The Blazers shot just 38.2 percent from the field in the first half, but luckily for them the Mocs were even worse at 27.8 percent, as they went into intermission with a 35-27 advantage.
UAB improved drastically from the field after halftime to 57.1 percent as it pulled away.
The Blazers dominated down low, holding a decisive advantage in rebounding (46-30) and points in the paint (32-12).
