NCAA Game Summary - Dartmouth at Brown

Providence, RI (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Melville netted 23 points and dished out five assists as his Dartmouth Big Green outlasted the Brown Bears, 75-68, in an Ivy League showdown at Pizzitola Sports Center.
Connor Boehm scored 22 points, grabbed eight rebounds and recorded three steals for Dartmouth (11-16, 4-9 Ivy). Alex Mitola contributed 17 points and five assists in the win, which was the second in a row for the Big Green.
Leland King tallied 18 points and eight rebounds to lead Brown (15-12, 7-6), while Sean McGonagill notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Steven Spieth chipped in 12 points, Norman Hobbie added 10 and Cedric Kuakumensah grabbed a team high-tying 10 boards in the loss, while blocking seven shot attempts. The Bears have dropped two games in a row with one game remaining on the team's regular season schedule.
Dartmouth shot 36.1 percent from the floor in the opening half, including 5- of-10 from 3-point range. Brown connected on 45.2 percent of its field goal tries in the frame, but the teams went into the intermission knotted at 34-34.
The Big Green controlled the second half, netting 45.8 percent of their shots and going 16-of-23 from the free-throw line. The Bears shot 37.9 percent from the floor in the period, and were outscored, 41-34.
Dartmouth outscored Brown from the free-throw line, 19-9, and had a 12-8 advantage in points off turnovers. The Bears won the battle in fast break points, 10-2.
