Clemson, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - K.J. McDaniels tallied 26 points, 14 rebounds and blocked six shots as the Clemson Tigers outlasted the Maryland Terrapins, 77-73, in double overtime during an ACC marathon at Littlejohn Coliseum.

Rod Hall added 16 points and five assists for Clemson (18-10, 9-7 ACC), which has won three of its last four. Landry Nnoko chipped in 11 points and Damarcus Harrison tacked on 10.

Seth Allen netted 20 points for Maryland (16-14, 7-10) and Evan Smotrycz contributed 19. Dez Wells recorded 16 points and Charles Mitchell cleared 15 boards.

Both teams struggled from the field in the first half. Clemson hit on 37.5 percent from the floor, while Maryland was at 28.1 percent. The Tigers led, 33-32, at the break.

The cold shooting continued in the second half. The Tigers made only 27.6 percent of their field goal tries and Maryland knocked down 30 percent from the floor. McDaniels split a pair of free-throws with 2:10 left in regulation to tie the game at 54-54. Neither team scored again the rest of the second half, forcing overtime.

Hall sank a jumper with 19 seconds left in the first extra session to put Clemson up three, but Smotrycz got a 3-pointer to fall on the other end to send the game forward.

After trading the lead back and fourth four times to start the second overtime, Clemson finally took control with a 3-pointer from Harrison. The Terrapins were within striking distance the rest of the way, but could never regain the lead.
