Fayetteville, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthlon Bell scored a game-high 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field to lead the Arkansas Razorbacks to a 110-80 thrashing of the Ole Miss Rebels in a Southeastern Conference showdown at Bud Walton Arena.
For the Razorbacks (21-9, 10-7 SEC), winners of six-straight, Mardracus Wade added 18 points, Rashad Madden finished with 14 points and Coty Clarke and Alandise Harris each chipped in with 13 points.
Marshall Henderson paced the Rebels (17-13, 8-9) with 15 points, while Jarvis Summers scored 11 and Sebastian Saiz and Anthony Perez each tallied 10 points.
Arkansas was on fire from the field to open the game, connecting on 52.8 percent of its shots, including 9-of-16 from beyond the arc, as the Razorbacks took a commanding lead at intermission, 56-34. Ole Miss shot just 40 percent from the field in the first half, including 4-of-14 from 3-point range.
The Razorbacks cooled off somewhat after halftime, shooting 43.9 percent but stayed accurate from deep, hitting 8-of-14 from the perimeter in the second half. The Rebels continued to struggle from the field, hitting on just 35 percent after the break. Arkansas coasted for the entire second half, seeing its lead balloon to as many as 46 points.
The Razorbacks outscored the Rebels, 51-24, from 3-point range. Arkansas was effective from the charity stripe as well, shooting 19-of-20 from the free- throw line in the game. The Razorbacks scored an incredible 71 points off the bench in the contest.
