NCAA Game Summary - Nevada at Boise State

Boise, ID (SportsNetwork.com) - Deonte Burton finished with 25 points and eight assists as the Nevada Wolf Pack outlasted the Boise State Broncos in double-overtime, 83-81, in a Mountain West Conference tilt at Taco Bell Arena.

For the Wolf Pack (14-16, 9-8 MWC), Michael Perez added 17 points, Jerry Evans, Jr. chipped in with 15 points and Marqueze Coleman scored 12.

Ryan Watkins led all scorers with 27 points and 14 rebounds for the Broncos (19-11, 9-8), while Derrick Marks finished with 16 points and Anthony Drmic and Jeff Elorriaga each chipped in with 15 points.

Nevada shot 40.7 percent from the field in the first half, including 2-of-7 from 3-point range. The Wolf Pack were able to take a 32-24 lead into halftime by holding Boise State to just 25.8 percent shooting from the field and 3- of-13 from beyond the arc.

The Broncos mounted their comeback after the break by connecting on 62.5 percent of their field goal attempts in the second half. Nevada shot 45.8 percent and 4-of-8 from the perimeter in the period. After Coleman tied the game at 62-62 with just over two minutes to play, both squads had chances to take the lead but neither team scored the rest of the way as the game went into an extra session.

After Perez drained two free-throws to give the Wolf Pack a three-point lead with just six seconds left in the first overtime, Thomas Bropleh knocked down a last-second 3-pointer to send the game into a second overtime tied 69-69. The Wolf Pack scored the first points of the second overtime and never trailed again, making 8-of-9 free-throws in the period, as they escaped with the victory.

The Wolf Pack had a slight advantage in points in the paint, 32-28. Boise State had the edge on the glass, outrebounding Nevada, 43-33.
