NCAA Game Summary - Stanford at Alabama

Tuscaloosa, AL (Sports Network) - Levi Randolph led four players in double figures with 16 points for the Alabama Crimson Tide as they defeated the Stanford Cardinal, 66-54, in the second round of the National Invitational Tournament at Coleman Coliseum.
Retin Obasohan had 14 points and six rebounds and Nick Jacobs and Trevor Releford added 10 points apiece for Alabama (23-12). The No. 1 seed Crimson Tide will face second-seed Maryland in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Chasson Randle tallied 11 points and Robbie Lemons chipped in 11 for Stanford. Dwight Powell and Josh Huestis each pulled in eight rebounds as well for the Cardinal which took home the NIT title a year ago.
Even though Alabama shot just 34.5 percent from the floor in the first half, it managed to hold a 32-24 advantage at intermission by holding Stanford to seven field goals on 25 percent shooting.
The Crimson Tide improved to 43.5 percent shooting in the second half and connected on 13-of-15 shots from the free-throw line to pull away for the victory.
Alabama had a 17-5 edge in points off turnovers and outscored Stanford, 28-14, in the paint.
