NCAA Game Summary - Charleston Southern vs. Austin Peay

Hoffman Estates, IL (Sports Network) - Anthony Campbell scored a game-high 24 points as he helped lead the Austin Peay Governors to a 70-64 victory over the Charleston Southern Buccaneers as part of the Chicago Invitational Challenge at Sears Centre Arena.
Also scoring in double figures for the Governors (3-3) were Tyshawn Edmondson and John Fraley who tallied with 14 and 13, respectively, as the squad snapped a three-game slide.
The Buccaneers (2-4) were paced by Jamarco Warren who tallied 18 points on 4- of-6 shooting behind the three-point line in the team's third straight loss. Jeremy Sexton tacked on 14 points in the losing cause as well.
Less than two minutes into the first half the Bucs found themselves trailing by a 6-0 score and were never able to recover and eventually settled for an 11-point deficit at the break, 37-26. Charleston Southern shot just 26.7 percent from the field in the period.
In the second half the Buccaneers jumped up to 56 percent from the floor and 6-of-10 beyond the arc, but it was still too late to keep the Govs out of the win column.
Austin Peay posted a 40-24 rebounding advantage to help offset 22 turnovers on the afternoon.
