Cullowhee, NC (Sports Network) - Dylan Talley scored 21 points as the Binghamton Bearcats downed the Arkansas-Monticello Boll Weevils, 66-56, in the final round of the Cullowhee Subregional of the CBE Classic.
Greer Wright scored 18 points and Moussa Camara added 10 as the Bearcats (2-4) snapped a four-game losing streak.
Anthony Lacey scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Arkansas-Monticello (1-5) which lost its fifth straight. Chris Paige added 10 points for the Boll Weevils.
Binghamton led by as many as eight points in the first half before taking a 33-29 lead into halftime. Wright scored 13 points in the first half. Paige countered with nine for the Boll Weevils.
The game was tied three times early in the second half before the Bearcats went on a 20-8 run to take a 61-49 lead with 3:21 left in regulation. Binghamton maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way. The Boll Weevils struggled from the floor after halftime, shooting just 9-of-27.
Binghamton shot 49 percent from the floor for the game and turned the ball over just 10 times. Arkansas-Monticello hurt its cause by going just 9-of-16 at the foul line.
