Dayton to play five at home, visit Jacksonville
Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Dayton will play five home games in 2011 as its tries to defend the Pioneer Football League title it shared last season.
The Flyers will kick off their season by traveling to Robert Morris on Sept. 3 and then return to Welcome Stadium for their home opener against Duquesne on Sept. 10.
Dayton's other four home games will come within the PFL against Marist (Sept. 17), Butler (Oct. 1), Davidson (Oct. 15) and San Diego (Nov. 5).
Dayton and Jacksonville shared the 2010 PFL title, but did not play each other while both finished 10-1 overall and 8-0 in league play. They will meet this year on Oct. 8 at Jacksonville.
