NCAA Game Summary - Navy at Louisiana Tech

Ruston, LA (Sports Network) - Ricky Dobbs threw for 219 yards and one touchdown and ran for another score as the Navy Midshipmen rallied for a 37-23 win over Louisiana Tech at Joe Aillet Stadium.
Dobbs generated 286 yards in total offense for the Midshipmen (2-1). He was 8- of-14 through the air and ran for 67 additional yards. Gee Gee Greene ran for 87 yards for Navy on the road as well.
Colby Cameron converted 31-of-43 passes for 251 yards and one touchdown for the Bulldogs (1-2). Taulib Ikharo caught 10 balls for 88 yards. Lennon Creer picked up 90 yards on 13 carries coming out of the backfield.
Mike Stukel started the scoring for Navy on a four-yard TD run with seven minutes left in the first quarter.
Matt Nelson got Louisiana Tech on the board with a 25-yard field goal with just under three minutes remaining in the period. He added a 36-yard boot two- and-a-half minutes into the second to cut Navy's lead to 7-6.
The hosts took a 13-7 lead on Lyle Fitte's two-yard scoring run three-and-a- half minutes later.
Navy moved back in front when Dobbs hit John Howell with a 25-yard scoring pass midway through the second frame.
Nelson's third field goal of the half, a 42-yard effort, gave the Bulldogs a 16-13 advantage at the five-minute mark.
Joe Buckley lifted Navy into a 16-16 tie with a 37-yard field goal of his own with just over three minutes left in the half.
LaTech went to the locker room with a 23-16 lead after Cameron found Ikharo with an eight-yard TD pass.
Dobbs found his way into the end zone from a yard out to tie the game at 23-23 five minutes into the third period, capping a 12-play, 72-yard drive.
Navy never trailed again. Kriss Proctor scored on a seven-yard run with half a minute left in the third period and Vince Murray scored on a 17-yard burst early in the fourth.
Navy's wishbone offense amassed 516 yards in total offense, 297 of them on the ground. The Midshipmen controlled the ball for more than 22 minutes in the second half.
