Miami Gardens, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Morris threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Miami-Florida Hurricanes over the Virginia Cavaliers, 45-26, in ACC action at Sun Life Stadium.

Morris completed 13-of-26 passing, was intercepted once and suffered a sack, while Dallas Crawford ran for 66 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries for the Hurricanes (8-3, 4-3 ACC). Allen Hurns added 126 yards receiving and two scores on six catches and Stacy Coley grabbed five balls for 81 yards and a TD.

David Watford threw for 106 yards, with a touchdown and three interceptions on 10-of-25 passing for the Cavaliers (2-9, 0-7). He was relieved in the fourth quarter by Greyson Lambert who finished with 134 yards on 13-of-19 passing. Kevin Parks ran for 130 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries, while Taquan Mizzell added four carries for 33 yards and a TD and also accounted for six catches for 45 yards and a score.

Tracy Howard picked off Watford on the very first play from scrimmage and returned it 19 yards for a touchdown, putting Miami up 7-0 just six seconds into the contest.

After Virginia scored on a 33-yard Alec Vozenilek field goal, Morris hooked up with Coley for a 62-yard touchdown strike with 5:25 left in the first to extend the Hurricanes lead to 14-3.

Late in the first, Parks dashed for a 24-yard touchdown run that narrowed the score to 14-10. The Cavaliers added a 25-yard field goal midway through the second quarter to get within a point, but after a Watford interception was returned 81 yards to the Virginia three-yard line, Crawford registered a one-yard run in the final seconds of the half to give the Hurricanes a 21-13 lead going into intermission.

Miami's Matt Goudis added a 33-yard field goal early in the third and Morris then hooked up with Hurns in the final minute of the quarter on a 26-yard touchdown pass to give the Hurricanes a 31-13 Advantage.

Watford hit Mizzell for a 10-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth to make the score 31-20. Miami then scored twice in less than three minutes midway through the fourth, first on a Crawford five-yard run then on a 72-yard fumble recovery by David Gilbert for the score that put the 'Canes up 45-20.

Mizzell ran it in from seven yards out in the final minutes of the game, with Miami blocking the extra point to set the final score at 45-26.

Miami outgained Virginia, 483-304, and finished with a 28-11 advantage in first downs. With the win, the Hurricanes snapped a three-game losing streak.
