Big Ben highlights AFC Players of the Week
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict and Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri have been named the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for Week 11.
Roethlisberger completed 29-of-45 passes for 367 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Steelers' 37-27 win over Detroit. He also posted a 119.4 passer rating, during a performance that included two fourth-quarter TD drives.
Burfict registered 15 tackles, one tackle for a loss, forced one fumble and had a fumble recovery for a touchdown in the Bengals' 41-20 win over Cleveland. He has a team-best 118 tackles this season and has led or tied for a team-high in tackles in 10 of the Bengals' 11 games this season.
Vinatieri converted all three field-goal attempts in the Colts' 30-27 win at Tennessee on Thursday night. His three field goals came from 48, 30 and 50 yards, and extends his point-scoring streak to 155 games.
