Description: Hawks guard Lou Williams will miss the rest of the season after an MRI revealed that he has a torn ACL.
Insight: Derrick Rose has been out almost a year after tearing his ACL in last season's playoffs so Williams will certainly face a long recovery. Williams should be dropped in all fantasy leagues.

Description: X-rays on Hawks guard Lou Williams' right knee from Friday night came back negative and the diagnosis is a sprained knee which will keep him out for a while.
Insight: Williams was wheeled to the locker room after collapsing on a layup in transition Friday against the Nets. Devin Harris is averaging 17.5 ppg over his last two games and is a decent add in 12-team leagues.

Description: Hawks coach Larry Drew said that "there will be some changes" starting Wednesday against the Nets following a game in which the team put up just 58 points. SOURCE: ProBasketballTalk.com
Insight: Drew didn't mention any particulars but we could see him re-insert Lou Williams into the starting lineup in place of Devin Harris. Williams played at an extremely high level in nine starts while Harris was nursing an injury.

Cold1/12/2013 10:45:00 PM
Description: Hawks guard Lou Williams has hit a cold spell after moving back to the bench three games ago. He has only made 10-of-33 for 9.0 ppg his last three games.
Insight: Williams was exceptional as a starter when Devin Harris was out. He averaged 18.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.8 assosts, 0.9 steals and 3.0 threes in nine starts. He has been solid as a sub this season too but nowhere close to his production as a starter.

Description: Hawks guard Lou Williams will come off the bench Wednesday night against the Cavaliers.
Insight: Williams has been used as a starter recently but he'll head back to the bench tonight as coach Larry Drew tries to assemble a bigger lineup to match up against Cleveland's bigs.

Description: Hawks guard Lou Williams has seen a 2.6-point increase in his scoring average since moving into the starting lineup. He had 17 points, eight assists, three rebounds, one steal and five triples Friday against the Pistons.
Insight: Williams is averaging 16.9 ppg, 6.1 ast, 3.9 reb, 1.9 stl and 3.0 3pm in seven games as a starter compared to 14.3 ppg, 3.1 ast, 1.7 reb, 1.3 stl and 1.6 3pm in 24 games as a reserve. Playing 38 mpg as a starter compared to 26 off the bench certainly helps.

Description: Atlanta coach Larry Drew says guard Lou Williams will continue to start even when Devin Harris returns from his foot injury. SOURCE: Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Insight: The Hawks are cruising right now and Drew fears that taking Williams (14.8 ppg) out of the lineup could throw off the team's rhythm. Harris (7.7 ppg) hasn't played in a game since December 18th.

Description: Hawks guard Lou Williams scored 22 points on 7-of-17 shooting in 31 minutes off the bench in the season opener Friday.

10/16/2012 10:12:00 PM
Description: Hawks guard Lou Williams came off the bench and scored 18 points with three assists in 26 minutes in Tuesday's preseason game against the Pacers.

7/10/2012 7:26:00 PM
Description: Former 76ers guard Lou Williams has reached an agreement with the Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

The gives the 25-year-old Georgia native, who averaged 14.9 ppg off the bench with Philadelphia last season, some major upside in fantasy leagues.
