Richmond, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Glenn Cosey scored 20 points and banked in the game-winning 3-pointer with just one second left to lead the Eastern Kentucky Colonels to a 79-78 victory over the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks in an Ohio Valley Conference tilt at McBrayer Arena.

For the Colonels (16-7, 7-3 OVC), Corey Walden also finished with 20 points, Marcus Lewis added 12 points and Tarius Johnson chipped in with 10 points.

Jarekious Bradley led all scorers with 32 points for the Redhawks (12-11, 3-6), grabbing eight rebounds in the process. Tyler Stone finished with 15 points and Lucas Nutt scored 13 with six turnovers.

EKU shot 48 percent in the first half, including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc, as the Colonels took a 44-37 lead at the break. SEMO shot an even better 56.5 percent from the field, but went just 1-of-4 from 3-point distance and was outscored at the free-throw line, 15-10, in the opening period.

After halftime, the Redhawks continued to knock down shots, connecting on 55.6 percent of their attempts from the field and 3-of-5 from deep. The Colonels struggled from the field in the half, making only 39.1 percent, but picked up points at the charity stripe, outscoring the Redhawks at the line, 14-8. EKU erased a 10-point deficit in the final four minutes to set up Cosey's game-winner.

SEMO dominated in the paint, outscoring EKU 44-24. The Colonels edged the Redhawks on the boards, 28-27, but had the advantage from the free-throw line, 29-18.
