(Saturday, January 25th)

Final Score: Duquesne 83, St. Bonaventure 81

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Derrick Colter netted 14 points, including a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, as the Duquesne Dukes nudged past the St. Bonaventure Bonnies 83-81 in Atlantic 10 action at the Palumbo Center.

Ovie Soko notched a game-high 27 points for the Dukes (9-9, 2-4 A-10), who broke out of a four-game skid. Micah Mason and Dominique McKoy added 15 and 13 points, respectively.

Charlon Kloof scored 23 points to lead the Bonnies (12-8, 2-4), who have lost four of their last five. Matthew Wright and Marquise Simmons contributed 22 and 13 points, respectively.

There was not much to split the teams in the first half, with the Dukes shooting 54.5 percent from the field and the Bonnies just slightly better at 54.8 percent. St. Bonaventure went into halftime with a 44-38 lead.

The Dukes surged back in the second half, shooting 56 percent from the field to their opponent's 45.5 percent. The back-and-forth contest's final minute had five lead changes alone. After Andell Cumberbatch missed back-to-back free throws which could have put the game out of reach with four seconds to play, Colter ran the length of the court following a timeout, getting off the long-range winner as time expired.

There were 14 lead changes in total, and neither team led in double digits. Duquesne outscored its opponent 14-0 on fast-break points.
