Omaha, NE (SportsNetwork.com) - Doug McDermott recorded a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Creighton Bluejays stayed hot with a 76-63 victory over the Georgetown Hoyas in a Big East battle at CenturyLink Center Omaha.

Will Artino contributed 14 points off the bench for Creighton (17-3, 7-1 Big East), which has won 12 of its last 13. Ethan Wragge tallied 12 points, Devin Brooks chipped in 11 and Jahenns Manigat tacked on 10.

Markel Starks paced Georgetown (11-8, 3-5) with 21 points. D'Vauntes Smith- Rivera added 18, Mikael Hopkins logged 14 and Nate Lubick hauled in 10 rebounds. The Hoyas have lost four straight.

Creighton entered halftime leading 34-24. The Bluejays hit on 40 percent from the floor in the opening frame and limited the Hoyas to 32.3 percent.

Georgetown improved to 46.7 percent from the field in the second half, but the Bluejays drained 51.9 percent to extended their advantage.

Creighton outscored the Hoyas 34-20 in the paint.
