(Wednesday, January 23) Final Score: LSU 58, Texas A&M 54 Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) - Johnny O'Bryant III recorded a double- double with 14 points and 10 rebounds as the LSU Tigers defeated the Texas A&M Aggies, 58-54, in SEC action at the Maravich Center. Shavon Coleman chipped in 17 points and four boards off the bench and Anthony Hickey added 10 points as LSU (10-6, 1-4 SEC) snapped a four-game losing streak. For the Aggies (12-6, 2-3), Fabyon Harris recorded a game-high 19 points but was the only player in double figures as Texas A&M lost for the third time in as many games. Texas A&M shot 48 percent from the floor, including 3-of-7 from long range in the first half as it held the hosts to a mere 3-of-14 from 3-point range, en route to a 28-27 advantage at the break. LSU made a total of 13 field goals, while holding Texas A&M to eight conversions in the second half, giving the Tigers enough of an edge to pull out the four-point win. The Aggies finished the night with more turnovers (24) than field goals (20).
