Jackson and Clancy named CBA Players of the Week

Boise, ID (Sports Network) - Great Lakes Storm guard Jermaine Jackson and Idaho Stampede forward Sam Clancy were named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Sunday, January 9 through Saturday, January 15.

Jackson averaged 19 points, 13.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds in two games, helping the Storm to a 3-0 mark last week. He also shot 62 percent from the field and made 92 percent of his free throws.

Clancy, meanwhile, posted 23.8 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last week to lead the Stampede to a 4-1 record. In 26 games this season, Clancy is averaging 15.9 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest.

Other players receiving consideration were Michigan's Charles Gaines and Dakota's Maurice Baker.
