Sevilla, Benfica to meet in Europa League final

Valencia, Spain ( - Sevilla booked its spot in the Europa League final in dramatic fashion on Thursday, falling at Valencia by a 3-1 score but striking in the fourth minute of stoppage time to advance on away goals.

After suffering a 2-0 loss in the opening leg, Valencia was left with a mountain climb in the return match. But the hosts responded well by getting two first- half goals to level the aggregate score.

Sofiane Feghouli opened the scoring in the second leg for Valencia by striking in the 14th minute while an own goal from Beto in the 25th made it two for the hosts.

Valencia appeared to have one foot in the final following Jeremy Mathieu's strike in the 68th minute, but Stephane M'Bia scored in the dying moments to see Sevilla steal the show.

Sevilla will meet Benfica in the final following the Portuguese side's 0-0 draw at Juventus on Thursday.

Benfica, which lost in last season's Europa League final to Chelsea, was a 2-1 winner in the opening leg. The club was in control until Enzo Perez's 67th- minute red card swayed the run of play in Juve's favor, but the Italian side failed to find a goal in the closing 23 minutes.
