Barcelona, Spain (Sports Network) - Barcelona announced Thursday that Isaac Cuenca has been loaned to Dutch side Ajax.

The 21-year-old has seen his chances limited to substitute appearances at Camp Nou and he will move to the Dutch giants until the end of the season in a bid to maintain his fitness and further his progression.

Ajax and Barcelona will split Cuenca's wages during the course of the loan spell.
