Krzyzewski to return as Team USA men's hoops coach

Durham, NC (Sports Network) - It appears Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski has decided to remain at the helm of the U.S. men's Olympic basketball squad.

USA Basketball has scheduled a Thursday morning press conference at Duke University to announce a coaching selection.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that Krzyzewski, once believed to be stepping down from the post, will assume the task of trying to lead the Americans to a third consecutive Olympic gold medal.

The Hall of Fame coach has directed Team USA since 2005, with the U.S. capturing gold at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics under Krzyzewski.
