Ann Arbor, MI (Sports Network) - Darius Morris was one of five players in double-figures for Michigan, as the guard led the Wolverines with a triple- double of 12 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in an 87-73 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes in Big Ten action at the Crisler Arena.

Tim Hardaway Jr. led Michigan (13-9, 3-6 BigTen) with 19 points, while Jordan Morgan added 17 points. Evan Smotrycz and Zack Novak tallied 14 and 13 points, respectively, in the victory.

Melsahn Basabe registered 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Iowa (8-13, 1-8), while Roy Devyn Marble posted 12 points. Bryce Cartwright and Matt Gatens chipped in 11 points apiece, while Cartwright also dished out nine assists in the loss.

Michigan took a 35-32 lead into the break after shooting a healthy 46.7 percent in the first half.

The Wolverines were much tougher in the second stanza, as they posted a 73.1 percent clip from the field, en route to the victory.

Michigan finished 14-of-28 from long range, while Iowa made just 5-of-13 attempts from behind the arc.
