=== Alouettes QB Calvillo coming back for 20th season ===

Montreal, QC (Sports Network) - Montreal Alouettes quarterback Anthony
Calvillo, pro football's all-time passing leader, signed a new two-year
 contract on Thursday.

The 40-year-old Calvillo will return for a 20th season.

"Anthony has been a solid foundation for our football team for a number of
years now," Alouettes general manager Jim Popp said. "The leadership he offers
in the community, in the locker room, and on the playing field is
irreplaceable. We are fortunate in many ways that he has chosen to return."

Calvillo threw for 5,082 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2012. He became the first
QB in league history to reach 5,000 passing yards seven times over his
 brilliant career.

"I'm truly excited to come back and be a part of this great team and
organization," Calvillo said. "With Jim's hard work and Coach Trestman at the
helm, I believe we will once again have a very competitive team next season
and I can't wait to get back on the field with my teammates."

Calvillo, entering his 16th season with the Alouettes, holds league records of
5,777 completions, 449 touchdown passes and 78,494 passing yards. He won Grey
 Cups in 2002, 2009 and 2010.
