Belgrano rallies to remain unbeaten

Buenos Aires, Argentina (SportsNetwork.com) - Belgrano came from a goal down to claim a 2-1 win at Atletico Rafaela to remain the only unbeaten team in Argentina's Clausura.

Juan Eluchans scored just three minutes into the match to put Rafaela into the lead. But Lucas Aveldano equalized for Belgrano in the 35th minute to pull his side level at halftime.

The decisive blow was struck on the hour mark by Lucas Pittinari, who latched on to a through ball from Cesar Pereyra and slotted his shot home from 12 yards.

Belgrano stays within three points of leaders Colon, which secured a 1-0 win at Rosario Central through Carlos Luque's goal in the 32nd minute.

Velez Sarsfield resides in second place after a 1-0 win over Boca Juniors thanks to a first-half goal from Mauro Zarate, while Estudiantes dropped to third place after being held to a 0-0 draw at home by Newell's.

Godoy Cruz fell three points off the pace after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Gimnasia LP, which got first-half goals from Gaston Diaz and Facundo Pereyra, Marcelo Bustamante scored in the 88th minute to help All Boys to a 1-1 draw at Racing, Leonardo Pisculichi scored twice in a 2-0 win for Argentinos Juniors against Arsenal, Olimpo topped Lanus, 2-0, with Ivan Furios and Adolfo Valencia scoring goals in the final seven minutes, while Sebastian Romero's 18th-minute strike was enough for Quilmes to secure a 1-0 win over Tigre.
